Exhibition Game vs. US Youth National Team

    I got a call from a friend of mine at USA Baseball yesterday. He needed a team to play his youth national team in an exhibition game on August 12th at 1:00 at the new complex in Cary. He asked me to put a team together for this. If you know of any 07 grads or maybe even a few 08 grads who would be interested in playing on that day, please let me know. Please understand that this is a single game. I'm not trying to "steal" anyones players. I think it would be a neat opportunity for anyone who is interested. I have about 7 players now, I just need to round out a roster for that day. If anyone has any questions, do not hesitate to ask. I would like to have a roster complete by this weekend.

    Most showcase teams are through before then. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to play against some stiff competition while being coached by one of the best.

    I know that the Dirtbags are playing them that day? Is there going to be two games? Andy informed of this today so this might be new?

    From what I understand by talking with the GM for the youth national team, we will be playing them at 1:00 and one of the Dirtbags teams will be playing them after that. I'm not sure which Dirtbags team it is. I will try to give Andy a call.

    The 07 team maybe give or take a couple of guys but mostly 07 guys
