I want to congratulate Coach Tuck in his new promotion as the Athletic Director at Bartlett Yancey High School in Yanceyville, NC.

Pete is an institution in the Person County area. He has been involved in coaching, field maintenance and influencing young men including the current players from that area for many, many years.

I met Coach Tuck this past year and to say I was impressed is an understatement. There is always a guy in every area that devotes his life to the kids...Pete is that kind of guy.

I hope the people in Yanceyville realize what a wonderful man they are getting. He's the best!!!!!

It's always nice to see good things happen to good people

Steve is Coach Tuck going to continue to coach baseball at BY? I sure hope so he is a great coach. Im looking forward to seeing you guys in a couple of weeks. Maybe we will get lucky and it will be one of those warm days around here and then it will be at least 40 degrees at your place!

Pete will be the AD at BY according to what he has told me. Remember, Pete coached with me for many years as a JV and Asst Varsity Coach. He was also head coach for the Roxboro Legion team. I am sure he wont be far frotm the field though and will support Alvin Foster (BY's coach) in any way he can!!

Thanks for the kind words. I have decided to give up coaching on the Highschool and Legion level for the immediate future. When February 12 rolls around I'll be able to let you guys know how long the immediate future will be. Right now I am on the Board of Directors of Roxboro Little League as the Coaching Coordinator, so I think I will be able to get my coaching kicks by helping all the coaches in the Roxboro Little League. I am also looking forward to teaching my 5 year old son how to play the game. He loves the game right now, but what he doesn't understand at this time is that he's a lefty and lefties don't play catcher. My daughter loves to play too and she's pretty good so I hope she continues to play. With that said I'll be posting about the Bartlett Yancey players and keeping up with the Rockets. As the old saying goes in Roxboro "Once a Rocket, always a Rocket".
To PersonRocketDad please keep me posted on J-Rod.

To Coach 27 as good as ya'll are going to be I might have left at the right time. Good Luck on your season and I hope I can catch the Person/South
    Granville game in Roxboro.

To Braves it was a pleasure to meet you in Charlotte last summer. You do such a great job with TBR. Keep up the good work.

To Coach Evans good luck this year. I'll be checking on the Rockets.
