Baseball this weekend in Kannapolis

    Charlotte
    South Atlantic Conference preseason tournament at Intimidators stadium. Tusculum plays Newberry on Saturday at 11:00am, then Wingate at 2:30pm. On Sunday Tusculum plays Catawba at 1:00pm. Not sure where to go for the full schedule, I pulled this from the Tusculum web site

    Neckball,,,, all games are at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium in Kannapolis, but I don't know yet just how this wet weather will affect games, especially today (Friday). I would advise anyone to call the stadium before coming, if you have a long drive.

    Friday, Feb.2: 6pm- Catawba vs. Wingate

    Saturday, Feb.3: 11am- Tusculum vs. Newberry
    2:30pm- Tusculum vs. Wingate
    6pm- Wingate vs. Newberry

    Sunday, Feb.4: 1pm- Catawba vs. Tusculum
    4pm- Catawba vs. Newberry


    Tickets- $5

    I would definetly like to see the Tusculem vs Catawba game. Especially if my boy, Blake Ketner, is pitching..plus get to see the Tyson's too

    nick martin who plays for newberry was is a post 46 alum, and was one of our assistants on this summers team

    Catawba beats Wingate 14-8 on Friday night in 1st game of tourney. Looks like all games are ON.
