South Caldwell is ranked 23rd in the nation by Collegiate Baseball's Easton Sports 2007 Pre-Season HS poll. Congratulations and best of luck!

I think we will see them move up in the ranks pretty quick....good luck guys, make NC proud.

Yeah...I can't wait for that series. I better go pick out a spot now, so I don't have to sit out over the fence.

Normally, I am apprehensive about a team returning most of their starters and are being billed as "one of the best". Usually, you will find those teams struggle at the beginning of the year with senioritis, then come on at the end. But this South Caldwell team is unique. They are dominating with their pitching staff, so I expect they will win games despite any let down.This team will be the "Yankees" of the state. A premier team with premier stars. You will love them or hate them....but ol' Braves loves them and I'm going to ride their coat tails all the way to the the Championship.

But what I like best about South Caldwell is their fans...they're great!!!!!

My loyalty is unbending, but for a couple of hot dogs and a good seat, I can learn to root for Reynolds up in their place

If all it takes is some good 'ole concession stand food to swing your loyalty, tell you what, you just go visit Mrs. Pap, or Mr. Jeffords at the AC Reynolds stand and they'll set you up right with home-grilled hotdogs and hamburgers!!! and Mr. Runion can get you the best seat in the house..... (but you gotta make sure you tell them who you are to get that "special" treatment!!!)

All kidding aside.... I know our Rockets can take it to the Spartans, however, knowing something and that same something happening are all too often different things when it comes to game time. I do know our seniors will be wanting to take back a few of those L's to SC last year - after all, they were the ONLY L's the Rockets had last year.

Best of luck to both teams - I'll stick with my Rockets all the way and you can keep your SC fans - I prefer ours anyday!!! LOL

 

Hahahaha...I love it. This is, IMO, the best rivalry this year in HS baseball. Tell Mr. Runion to save me a good seat and I promise to wear a Rockets hat and shake my pom-poms...and that ain't easy because the Spartan crowd will start throwing things at me. But as long as its food, I don't mind
