NW4A Varsity and JV Scores

    How have the NW4A teams been doing the past two weeks? Freedom has ran their record to 4-1. On Sat., they beat Hibritan
    5-0. Alex Chapman got the win for the Pats. On Monday, Freedom traveled back to Hibritan and came out with another victory. Alex Dergins got the win on Monday. He pitched a complete game, striking out 10, while only giving up 4 hits and 3 walks. He also had the game winning RBI. Dergins and Powell had doubles, while Chapman and Nick Lacky both had singles. They will be back in action on Wed. at West Caldwell and Fri. at Crest. They have road games for the next 2 1/2 weeks. Good test for the boys. Good Luck!

    AC Reynolds is also playing well. Sounds like every team in the conference has a chance to make the playoffs. Anybody know the class breakdown for the teams ? I think Watauga has 4 seniors and 12 juniors.

    AC Reynolds is also playing well. Sounds like every team in the conference has a chance to make the playoffs. Anybody know the class breakdown for the teams ? I think Watauga has 4 seniors and 12 juniors.

    ACHS beat Wilkes Central Varsity 12-0,and ACHS JV beat Wilkes JV 18-8..

    Freedom has 6 seniors, 6 juniors, 6 sophomores. They have a pretty balanced team. No Freshmen up on the team this year.
