New Fall Tournament

At the request of many, the Carolina Cardinals will be holding the 1st Annual Cardinal Fall Classic Tournament at Eagle Park (Winthrop University Softball Complex) on Sept. 19 & 20.

Ages: 12U, 14U, 16U/18U combined

4 Game Guarantee

Entry Fee: $195

Tournament will accommodate the first 24 teams to enter.

The tournament is designed for teams to "tryout' new players if desired and gives team opportunity to play at 43 ft. pitching distance.

Tournament format is a 4 game guarantee
1 practice game, followed by a 3 game double elimination bracket.

1 hour 20 minute time limit.

Free substitution on defense.

Teams may bat entire roster if they desire.

Pitching distance will be 43 ft for 14U & 16U/18U. 40 ft for 12U.

Due to the early interest, we expect this tournament to fill up fast, so please enter early.

TOURNAMENT WILL ACCOMMODATE 24 TEAMS. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY! Tournament is designed to give teams an opportunity to “tryout” players in each game.

Format:
- Four Game Guarantee
- One Pool Game Followed by three game, double elimination bracket
- Free Substitution on defense
- Teams may bat entire roster if desired by using EP (extra players), and DP/Flex
- All games will have 1 hour 20 minute time limit (finish the inning). Pool game can end in a tie. Bracket games must have a winner (ITB will be used if necessary)
- 16/18U will be a combined age group.
- Pitching distance for 12U will be 40 ft., 14U, 16/18U will be at 43 ft.
- NO METAL CLEATS ALLOWED!

Entry Fee: $195.00 payable to Carolina Cardinals Entry Deadline: 9/12/09

Eligibility: A copy of your official roster and player birth certificates must be available to the tournament director upon request.
Insurance: Each must have insurance and be prepared to show proof of insurance upon request.
