    Any word on the Caldwell Cty/Cherryville game from this past week that got rained out? Do they start over or does it pick up where they left off? When is the make up? I haven't seen many comments about this one.

    They will have to start the game over. If it had been in the 5th inning when the storm hit, it would have been game over. They will announce at a later date about the make-up.

    Caldwell - 11
    Hickory - 1

    WP - Cody Poarch
    (a rising Junior at South)

    Post 29 had 14 hits.
    Josh Severt 3 for 5 with a single, a double and a triple
    Daniel Coffey was 3 for 4
    Shane Clawson was 3 for 4 with a double.

    Poarch allowed only 1 walk and 1 hit and had 6 K's in 6 innings work.

    Post 29 has found some great pitching to help Messer. Berry, Severt, and Poarch all did awesome in their early season starts.
