    12th ranked North Carolina beat FL. State 1-0 when sophomore catcher Brittany McKenney hit a solo home run with 2 out in the bottom of the 6th inning Monday in Chapel Hill. Ms. McKenney had 2 of the 3 UNC hits on the day and she currently leads the team in HR's, and dbls.

    Brittany is sure the anchor of a very strong team. She is solidily strong behind the plate. Lets not forget other players who contribute to this powerful team in Dani Spaulding, Lisa Norris, Bre Brown, and an up and coming superstar in Constance Orr. Donna Papa has done her homework because this team is stronger then last years 50 win team.
