The G-TOWN HEAT has 2 openings for their 2017 12U fast pitch softball. We are looking for a capable second base and shortstop, or utility players. The G-TOWN HEAT is a small organization in between 3 big organizations that care more about getting their organizations bigger and making more money for someone else. We keep the price down as much as we possibly can. We play NSA, USSSA, and Top Gun. We do have sponsors and we are always looking for more. We plan on playing in tournaments in Johnson City TN, Morganton NC, Rock Hill SC, Spartanburg SC, Charlotte NC, and the Raleigh NC area.

Our team is working on being a family and working hard in workouts and practices to get them prepared for the future playing softball and life experiences. We do keep in touch with college coaches from the SEC and the ACC, as well as area college coaches, monthly. These coaches have told me it’s not all about how big your organization is, but it’s how your team plays. Attitudes win or lose.

The girls on this team come from Gastonia, Lincolnton, Denver, Huntersville, Concord, Charlotte, and the Steele Creek and Ft. Mill and York areas. We are starting our winter workouts, December through February, with On Deck Sports Academy. New to this year will be Speed and Agility on Saturday mornings.

We will also have private tryouts if needed. We hope to hear from you about any questions about the G-TOWN Heat.

    Call or text 704-214-3588.

    Thanks

NC CHALLENGERS NATIONAL TEAM OPENINGS - 14U FUTURES & 16U ELITE

The NC Challengers has teams representing age groups from 10U thru 18U. As an organization, the NC Challengers have been assisting with college placement of softball student-athletes since the mid 1990's. As of the Class of 2016, there have been over 140 players that have passed through our organization and continued to play softball while getting their college education. All information about our organization can be found on www.ncchallengers.org.

    14U Futures:

Seeking one player for the 2017 season. All positions will be considered. Player should be able to contribute offensively while playing a national level schedule. Player should be a 2020 or 2021 graduate.
    • Team will play in 2017 PGF Nationals and will participate in top exposure events including Scenic City, Jax Storm, Team New Jersey, Atlanta Legacy, Southern Force, Elite FL Classic and others.
    • Several private team camp opportunities
    • Dedicated recruiting guidance to all players on team

    16U Elite:
Seeking two players for the 2017 season.
    (1) Catcher with a strong bat (2018, 2019, 2020 graduate)
    (1) Infielder (all infield positions considered) who can also play OF (2018, 2019, 2020 graduate)
    • Team will play in 2017 PGF Nationals and will participate in top exposure events including Scenic City, Colorado Fireworks, Team New Jersey, Atlanta Legacy, Diamond 9, Southern Force, and others.
    • Several private team camp opportunities
    • Dedicated recruiting guidance to all players on team

Both teams practice in the Raleigh, NC, but a player's distance from the area is not of concern.

For more information on any of the positions for either team, please contact Adam Renzi at (919) 816-7425 or [email protected].

The Lake Norman Lightning 18u will be holding tryouts on December 4th at 2:00, at North Meck Park in Huntersville, NC. In the 5 year history of The Lake Norman Lightning Organization it has become one of the most competitive and well respected organizations in the Carolina's.

We are a NSA and ASA "A" bracket team. We rebuilt our team in October and became more competitive. We are looking for "A" bracket pitchers and a catcher. All positions are open since we are looking to put the best possible players on the field. We have brought in a coach (Charles) that knows the game and was with the former 18u Charlotte Rage.

We will play some showcase tournaments, invite only college tournaments and state, regional and national qualifiers. We are committed to playing in the University of Tennessee's Big Orange Showcase. There were 25 colleges/universities there last year when our 14u team played. We also do Lake Norman Lightning only camps with colleges. We have one set up with Catawba in January 2017.

We are looking for girls who are serious about playing the game of softball, have a passion for the game, are coachable and want a chance to play in college.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact the head of our organization, Thomas Strahan [email protected] or 704-726-6492
