    North Iredell took another step toward the NPC championship tonight with a 3-0 victory over a tough Carson team. NI is now 15-0 overall and 45-1 in sets played.

    Tri county conference has playoffs starting Tuesday in volleyball.

    RS (Central) middle will host Kings Mountain
    North Lincoln will host Shelby
    Shelby has an eighth grader who is 6' 4"

    Our tri-county conference seems to be a month behind a lot of others. Our fall softball ends at the same time (middle of October) as high school volleyball starting their state tournaments, so thats the reason its so late. Another thing that all those who want to see high school softball in the fall would have to consider. A lot of the better athletes in softball are volleyball players.
