2017 tryouts

Lake Norman Fury High School (Cox) Tryouts December 9

The Lake Norman Fury High School (Cox) team, based in Denver, NC, will hold tryouts for the 2018 season on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2PM. Tryouts will be held at New Covenant United Methodist Church, 14514 Lucia Riverbend Hwy, Mt. Holly, NC 28120. All positions will be considered.

Our mission is to provide a first class organization for young ladies to compete at the highest level. The Fury strives to help our young ladies become better players on the field and better citizens in the community. We are looking for athletes that desire to improve their play, who respect the game of softball and all those that surround their team, and who will play with maximum effort while still enjoying the game.

1. Carolina Comets to start a 16u Showcase softball team coached by Roger McGuffey. Focus will be on 8th graders, Freshman, & Sophomores (Juniors & Seniors are welcome to tryout). Tryouts will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13 @ 1:00 @ North Main Park in Mooresville, if bad weather, we will move to our inside facility just down the road.
